Terms of Service
Last updated June 17, 2026
wristband.club is an event hosting and ticketing service operated by Needlestack Labs ("we", "us"). These terms cover your use of the site and apps at wristband.club. By creating an account, buying or claiming a ticket, or running an event through us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Who can use wristband
You need to be at least 13 to have an account, and old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. If you're using wristband for an organization, you're telling us you're allowed to act on its behalf.
Your account
Keep your login details to yourself and keep them accurate. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so let us know right away if you think someone else has gotten into it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk.
Organizations and events
Events on wristband are created and run by organizers, not by us. If you host an event, you're responsible for it: the details you publish, the experience you deliver, the people you let in, and following the laws that apply to it. You agree not to list anything illegal, dangerous, or deceptive.
We give organizers tools to publish events, set up ticket types, invite staff, and check people in. We don't endorse any event and we're not a party to the agreement between an organizer and an attendee.
Tickets and entry
A ticket is permission from the organizer to attend their event under the terms they set. Some tickets are free; paid tickets may be added over time. Each ticket has a QR code (which may refresh periodically for security) that staff scan at the door. The organizer decides who gets in and may refuse entry consistent with their rules and the law. Don't copy, forge, or resell tickets in ways the organizer hasn't allowed.
Payments and refunds
When paid tickets are available, payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We don't store your full card details. Prices, taxes, and any fees are shown before you check out. Refunds and cancellations are set by the organizer of each event — reach out to them first. We may charge organizers a service fee, which we'll make clear before they sell.
Acceptable use
- Don't use wristband to break the law or to defraud anyone.
- Don't scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or try to break into the service.
- Don't upload content you don't have the rights to, or that's hateful, harassing, or harmful.
- Don't misrepresent who you are or who you're acting for.
Your content
You keep ownership of the things you add — event descriptions, images, logos, and so on. You give us permission to host, display, and share that content as needed to run the service (for example, showing an event on its public page). You're responsible for having the rights to whatever you upload.
The service is provided "as is"
We work to keep wristband running well, but we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We're not responsible for the events themselves, for what organizers or attendees do, or for anything outside our reasonable control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to what you paid us, if anything, in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service grows. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date above and, where it matters, let you know. Continuing to use wristband after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we can't resolve informally will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Kansas, and you agree to that venue.
